Mr. Mailman, Bring Me a Dream

The holidays are upon us and I'm ready to kick off the season by sending warm wishes to loved ones. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a fanatic when it comes to cards. I get excited when I receive a piece of mail and I enjoy sending cards to show my love. I sat down tonight, armed with a fresh cup of coffee, to sort through card layouts and heaps of family photos. With a myriad of stationary websites to choose from, I spent a great deal of time looking for THE Christmas card.

After much searching, I chose Shutterfly's services. I've used this company in the past for the quintessential mom gift-- beautiful photo calendars! The quality of the prints and paper are incredible and the program allows me to personalize it one step further by adding in important dates and birthdays. What more could I have asked for?

The 2010 Holiday Collection is vast and chock full of options for every design perspective. Personally, I tend to lean towards classic with a touch of whimsy. I favor clean lines and simplicity, where my eyes immediately know where to fall-- a detail I carefully analyze thanks to my design classes.

I have chosen a few of my favorite cards to share:

All of these beautiful cards can be found on Shutterfly's Website, along with many others. I am extremely impressed by the simplicity of the process-- just upload your picture, type in your message, and you're set! It sure helps to have one less thing to stress about during Christmastime. As of now, I'm still sorting through layouts and of course, you will have to wait and see which one I choose.

I look forward to seeing the finished product in person and getting them in the mail! Happy holidays, everyone!
