My Kindle:
I am {finally} using my Amazon Kindle and it is by far my new favorite toy. The device is lightweight and compact enough to store in even the smallest of purses. It allows me to read multiple books at once and it gives me the option of buying novels and having them at my fingertips in a matter of seconds. I am currently reading The First Husband by Laura Dave-- a quick summer read that I am enjoying during my time spent at the beach.
Summer Dresses:
I want to live in dresses and lightweight materials once the weather heats up. I was window shopping the other day when I came across this gem. I fell in love with the faux wrap dress design and pockets-- the perfect hideaway for my diabetes devices. I like that I can dress it up to wear to the office, or pair it with sandals for a casual weekend outfit.

Fishtail Braids:
This messy fishtail braid a la Dianne Kruger is a staple of mine for these upcoming months. It's an understated chic look that'll keep my hair at bay.
Trader Joes Mango Cream Bars:
If you haven't tried these bars, do yourself a favor and pick up a box (or two...). These mango sorbet bars are complimented with a single side of cream. Each bar contains a whopping 60 calories and 10 carbs-- a refreshing AND guilt-free mid-afternoon snack!
The Farmer's Market:
My coworker raved about a local farmer's market and in turn, I excitedly jumped at the opportunity to spend a morning perusing local fruit and vegetable merchant stands. It didn't disappoint. I picked a week's worth of produce, while various recipes ran through my head...
